Maintenance & Air Pressure Adjustment Guide for Sandscape Art
Initial Setup
- Upon receiving the product, gently flip it several times to activate sand flow. Avoid frequent syringe adjustments, as overuse may widen the injection port.
Air Pressure Adjustment (Due to Temperature/Altitude Changes)
Included syringe tool ensures optimal sand flow (0.5-2cm bubble height range for ideal viscosity).
Adjusting SLOW Sand Flow (Remove Air):
① Locate the injection port on the frame edge.
② Tilt the artwork to gather bubbles near the port (ensure sand is fully displaced).
③ Insert syringe and slowly withdraw air until desired flow speed is achieved.
Adjusting FAST Sand Flow (Add Air):
Follow steps ①-② above, then gently inject air through the syringe.
Bubble Management
⚠️ If large bubbles form:
- Gently shake horizontally to disperse into smaller bubbles.
- Add distilled/cooled boiled water (see “Refill Guide” below) to compensate for evaporation.
⚠️ Water Refill Guide
- Use only distilled or cooled boiled water (prevents mineral buildup).
- Withdraw 1-2ml air via syringe to create negative pressure.
- Inject water SLOWLY (<3ml per session) to avoid overpressure.
- CRITICAL: Excess air/water volume may cause glass rupture.
